How to wear gingham print dress
Gingham is known as one of the most popular prints during the summer times. It was first seen in Europe in the 17th century, when it was originally more of a striped pattern as compared to the checkered pattern it is known today. It was only changed into the latter when mills in Manchester, England began to produce the print in a checkered pattern. And then throughout the years, the trend transcended on different collections time and time again.
A few dares to wear the gingham print off season since it is more likely to be worn on the warmer months. But as for someone who lives in a tropical country, somehow it's acceptable.
So... in the party I attended last month, I decided to wear this puff-sleeves pink gingham mini dress that I got from a local boutique shop. Seriously, how cute is this dress? For a more polished but still comfortable outfit, I styled it with mid heels and a casual sling bag. And to finish off the outfit, I wore a chunky/braided headband and some dainty earrings.
