ANTI- VALENTINE'S

Anti- valentines
As the "Day of Hearts" approaches, the number of times we hear "Versace on the floor" just keeps getting higher& higher since everybody is feeling more sensual than normal. A day enjoyed by many, Valentine's day is also suffered by few. It is usually celebrated by two kinds of people: "the annoying couples on Facebook" that will make you feel sh*tty about being single and the anti- valentiners, I being the latter. But contrary to what the title imposes, this is not going to be confessions of a bitterella (babaeng bitter) because I do love celebrating this day, even as a single lady.

Valentine's day seem to be wrapped around the idea of people dating and acting oh so sweet, however it is not all that. We see people in romantic comedies enjoying the day, giving each other flowers, dressing fancy schmancy and going out to those cliché romantic lit dinner but in reality, spending this day can be stressful at times not to mention "nakakabutas ng bulsa"! Nevertheless, whether you're in a relationship or you're single, you can enjoy this day without stressing too much over it. You can spend this day with your loved ones and go out for a non-romantic revelry or even have yourself a sleep over! As long as you have these people who loves and cares about you, you'll realize that this day is not actually that bad. You can also throw yourself a me day.. I mean why not?! Take a page from Alex Russo's book! You can pamper yourself, treat yourself to dinner and even send yourself some flowers. Remind yourself that someone shall always and will always love you, yourself! No vain intended.:)
