A PET FRIENDLY RESORT IN BATANGAS | TRAVEL DIARY
Shercon Resort and Ecology Park is a full spectrum of recreation, with a lot of amenities to roam around. Located in the highlands of Batangas, the resort has a breathtaking view of Taal Volcano while having lush landscape and excellent facilities itself. From having seven pools and sixty rooms to choose from, this resort is a relaxation dream come true. And the best part is pets can come with. Yay! (PS Pets are allowed in the resort, except for the pool area and dining area.)
Its amenities include aircon, refrigerator, 32" television (Cignal channels), hot and cold water, towels and toiletries. It also has a safety vault and 2 double sized bed with pullout. Click here to see more room options.
4:00 PM: After we settled down, my sister and I decided to go around the place... and it is huge! We tried walking at first (to take some pictures), and it was just hard walking! So we decided to go back to the room, and with our dad, mom and LA, we took the shuttle service and go explore the resort even more (Tip: Find the nearest security guard, wherever you are in the resort, for a shuttle).
We asked the shuttle to drop us off near the Pocket Pools and we strolled around the area. We also took LA for a walk and he enjoyed it so much. He had fun seeing new things, the true beauty of nature while walking. But, it was his first time on a trip like this so when we got back in our room, we let him rest and sleep. He was too cute!
7:00 PM: It's dinner time! Sam's Kitchen starts serving dinner around 7pm. Because we stayed at CMS, our dinner (and breakfast the next day) were free. We had fish fillet, fried chicken, chopsuey and rice.
After having our meal, we decided to go back to our room and rest also. We were supposed to swim afterwards but it was just too cold. We wanted to sleep early so we can wake up early, and we did.
6:00 AM: The sunrise! Ahhhh, it was perfect! With a view as beautiful as the Taal and that sunrise... I can't imagine anything as wonderful! We took some pictures and just enjoyed the moment.
7:00 AM: Breakfast time! We had our breakfast at Sam's Kitchen. This diner seemed magical during daytime with the natural lighting and everything considered, ugghhh I love it! For our meal, we had silog, and of course their famous Kapeng Barako.
8:00 AM: Time for some fun! We maximized our hours stay at the resort. We walked around, took more pictures, played (hence the maze), and we took a dip on the pool area near CMS. It was enjoyable and relaxing at the same time.
12:00 NN: Check-out. Sadly, it was time to go. Gosh! There were still so many places we wished we had gone to (monkey trails, chess area, etc). An overnight stay wasn't just enough to fully experience everything. So if you're planning to go here, I suggest a 3-days-2-nights kind of stay to have your best time.
Overall, we loved our stay so much. The staffs ad personnel were all so accommodating, the place is so clean and well-secured, and our little fur-baby got the chance to come with and roam around. Ughhh I can't wait for his next adventure with us. Any resort suggestions?
