Casa San Pablo
Last May 10th, I turned a quarter of a century old. It's such a weird feeling really, one moment you're a child, next thing you know, you're an adult. Time is that fast, I actually felt old!😂 Nevertheless, I am grateful for all the blessings, struggles, life lessons and experiences I had to go through these past 25 years that helped me mold into this better person. And for that, we just had to celebrate my birthday! What better way to do it than to stay near a place where I grew up in, a place not far from home... in Casa San Pablo.
Casa San Pablo is a paradise just beyond the outskirts of the city. Inspiration and creativity can be found everywhere, from art galleries to cafe and nature itself. Travel and post-celebrate with me via these moments captured through the lens. Enjoy!

Top beaches in the Philippines
“There can be something beautiful after a disaster."
Almost 20 years after the cataclysmic eruption of Mt. Pinatubo, Nagsasa's shoreline became a beautiful grayish-white beach and not much later, a tourist destination to some. Its charm and serenity, not to mention the breathtaking views, are the qualities that lure people to this magical place.
Last month, my high school friends and I went there to have the time of our lives. No words can describe how beautiful the place was. And on that said, here's a visual compilation of my recent trip at Nagsasa Cove. Enjoy!

Pet Friendly Resort near Manila
Hi guys! It's been a while. On today's entry, I'll let you tag along with us in our little furry adventure at Shercon Resort and Ecology Park in Mataas na Kahoy, Batangas. If you've been following me on my social media, you might have spotted a new family member we had in the past year, La the Shih Tzu! Yes, it's a lot of responsibility, and it can be quite hard at times... but it's mostly fulfilling and fun. Anyways, it's also been challenging for us to leave him behind when we go on trips, cos' it's like leaving your own child for days. So this time around, we decided to go on a resort where he can come with for the long weekend. While most pet friendly resorts my sister and I searched for were already fully booked, my mom suggested we try calling the resort she went to a year ago for her team building, Shercon Resort and Ecology Park. And lucky us, we got the last room.
Shercon Resort and Ecology Park is a full spectrum of recreation, with a lot of amenities to roam around. Located in the highlands of Batangas, the resort has a breathtaking view of Taal Volcano while having lush landscape and excellent facilities itself. From having seven pools and sixty rooms to choose from, this resort is a relaxation dream come true. And the best part is pets can come with. Yay! (PS Pets are allowed in the resort, except for the pool area and dining area.)
Shercon Resort and Ecology Park Club Manuel Suites viewing Taal Volcano
2:00 PM: Check-in. We stayed at the Club Manuel Suites in Shercon Resort and Ecology Park. It has the most amazing view of Taal and ambient scenery of Tagaytay Ridge. This room is the perfect place to unwind, relax and feel luxurious in a staycation. For an overnight stay, the room costs 5000 pesos for 2 pax with complimentary dinner and breakfast. There is an additional fee of 1000 pesos per extra pax. The room can be filled up to 8 pax.
Its amenities include aircon, refrigerator, 32" television (Cignal channels), hot and cold water, towels and toiletries. It also has a safety vault and 2 double sized bed with pullout. Click here to see more room options.

4:00 PM: After we settled down, my sister and I decided to go around the place... and it is huge! We tried walking at first (to take some pictures), and it was just hard walking! So we decided to go back to the room, and with our dad, mom and LA, we took the shuttle service and go explore the resort even more (Tip: Find the nearest security guard, wherever you are in the resort, for a shuttle).
We asked the shuttle to drop us off near the Pocket Pools and we strolled around the area. We also took LA for a walk and he enjoyed it so much. He had fun seeing new things, the true beauty of nature while walking. But, it was his first time on a trip like this so when we got back in our room, we let him rest and sleep. He was too cute!

Shercon Resort and Ecology Park Dinner at Sam's Kitchen
7:00 PM: It's dinner time! Sam's Kitchen starts serving dinner around 7pm. Because we stayed at CMS, our dinner (and breakfast the next day) were free. We had fish fillet, fried chicken, chopsuey and rice.
After having our meal, we decided to go back to our room and rest also. We were supposed to swim afterwards but it was just too cold. We wanted to sleep early so we can wake up early, and we did.

6:00 AM: The sunrise! Ahhhh, it was perfect! With a view as beautiful as the Taal and that sunrise... I can't imagine anything as wonderful! We took some pictures and just enjoyed the moment.

7:00 AM: Breakfast time! We had our breakfast at Sam's Kitchen. This diner seemed magical during daytime with the natural lighting and everything considered, ugghhh I love it! For our meal, we had silog, and of course their famous Kapeng Barako.

8:00 AM: Time for some fun! We maximized our hours stay at the resort. We walked around, took more pictures, played (hence the maze), and we took a dip on the pool area near CMS. It was enjoyable and relaxing at the same time.

Shercon Resort and Ecology Park review
12:00 NN: Check-out. Sadly, it was time to go. Gosh! There were still so many places we wished we had gone to (monkey trails, chess area, etc). An overnight stay wasn't just enough to fully experience everything. So if you're planning to go here, I suggest a 3-days-2-nights kind of stay to have your best time.
Overall, we loved our stay so much. The staffs ad personnel were all so accommodating, the place is so clean and well-secured, and our little fur-baby got the chance to come with and roam around. Ughhh I can't wait for his next adventure with us. Any resort suggestions?
