TAGAYTAY | TRAVEL DIARY
I am from the southern part of Luzon and I've been to Tagaytay City too many times already — it's only a 2-hr drive from our place after all. But as we took advantage of the long weekend, we decided to stay overnight and enjoyed the beauty that Tagaytay has to offer.
4:00 PM: After many stops (and arguments lol), we finally arrived at Tagaytay City.
5:00 PM: Check-in. We stayed at Mountain Breeze Hostel (along Tagaytay-Calamba Rd). With knick-knacks in every nook and cranny, the hostel pretty much makes you feel at home.
6:30 PM: Rested, unpacked and planned (well, sort of). We went outside the hostel and ate our dinner at Galaxy Restaurant (I forgot to take some pictures because we were too hungry already)
8:30 PM: Chilled at McDonald's near our hostel. The McDonald's in Tagaytay City has a picture-perfect scenery, with wood-and-stone exterior and an indoor garden with the view of Taal.
10:00 PM: Dropped by the Dreamland Arts and Crafts Cafe. The place is so dreamy, with lights and dream catchers all over.
10:30 PM: Headed back to our hostel to take some rest.
12:00 AM: Lights out.
7:00 AM: Rise and Shine! We took advantage of the natural lighting and took some pictures of the hostel.
8:00 AM: Back to McDonald's for our breakfast.
10:30 AM: All packed up, check-out.
11:00 AM: Got the chance to explore markets in Tagaytay. We went to Ukay-ukay but sadly, our trip was a fail Mary. We didn't find anything worth our money. Instead, we bought food (no shame there)
12:00 PM: Treated ourselves with food and Tagaytay scenery at Josephine restaurant. Josephine restaurant offers a wide selection of Filipino food while enjoying it under a wonderful scenery — an indoor garden or with an over view of Taal.
1:00 PM: With tummies full, we took some pictures for keepsakes.
2:30 PM: Headed back to San Pablo City — butt pain and leg cramps, check!
